Lip Balms | February Flake-Away

February's cold weather can be tough on our skin and where we usually first see the signs is on our lips as they become sore, dry and chapped. So here are my top lip balms for getting those lips back to being supple and soft for Spring.

L'Occitane Stick Levres
has been my recent favourite. It's not too thick, not too thin and leaves the lips feeling nourished and moisturised without having that sticky, cakey feeling of some lip balms. It has got a mild, almost vanillary scent to it and beautifully minimal chic packaging so would be suitable as a treat for yourself or a gift for him.

NUXE Réve de Miel
is so slight and soft so is perfect swipe on the lips before applying lipstick so minimise any cracks and smooth out any flaking. It also has amazing staying power and was my go-to balm for a while (check out my  Réve de Miel Review). It has a mild citrus scent without being overpowering and the body is shaped like a lipstick bullet (love that detail).

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm
has the thickest consistency of all and is perfect for when your lips are at their most damaged. This one is perfect post exfoliating lip scrub when you're having a lipstick detox and really need to show your lips some TLC. It has a strong peppermint scent and taste which feels very cooling and fresh and is made with all natural ingredients and comes in a recycled tube.

I've also got a stock favourite that I carry with me at all times, regardless if I've got one of these lovelies with me or not. Check it out  here.
