Escentual Sale Picks

I saw a little 1/3 off sale happening over on Escentual and had to pick up a few treats in preparation for the warmer weather.

I recently got my hands on the 150ml bottle of Avéne Thermal Spring Water and have been loving it as a calming spritz as part of my evening skincare regimen when my skin is feeling sensitive and in need of a little extra TLC. The warmer weather is on it's way and I reckon this little gem will become a handbag must have pretty quickly to cool down in the sun and soothe any irritated or sun-damaged skin. So I picked up a handbag-sized one (50ml) and added it to my stash of all things awaiting summer (sunglasses, SPF, cream blushes...).

Working in a communal office means central heating, living in London means underground commutes, and the change in weather means skin confusion (sensitive skinned girls know what I'm talking about here). So with all these external factors my skin has been feeling less than radiant and pretty dried out (which is a change from my normally fairly oily complexion). When I saw the Avéne Soothing Hydrating Serum included in the sale I snapped it up. I used it for the first time last night so keep a look out for an upcoming review to see if it brings the much needed life back into my skin.

The last thing I picked up was, of course, the  NUXE Réve de Miel. I need not waffle on about this product but to say that it's intensively moisturising with fantastic staying power without sitting on the lip catching flyways. It's great for damaged lips and sinks in nicely so can be applied on chapped lips before a lipstick.

The order came with the Escentual nail file (which was actually perfect as I've been in need of a new one for some time).

Are you treating yourself to an Escentual pick this March?
