Haircare Heist

Now that the weather is warming up and the sun is beginning to show it's face once again, it's time to loosen those locks, give them a lift and bring them out of their I-don't-care winter ponytails. Hair is a great insulator during the colder months, even acting as a scarf when it's blustery, but now that we're
transitioning into Spring / Summer I've cut my mane to fall a few inches below my shoulders and added some layers to give a bit more va-va-voom.

I've been loving using the Dove StyleCare Dry Shampoo. I had previously only been using dry shampoo in a rush on day 3 hair to de-oil the roots, but the Dove dry shampoo doesn't leave that claggy build-up I've found with other brands, leaving the hair feeling closer to just washed than just talced. It also has a much more pleasant smell; fresh and clean.

The Tangle Teezer Compact. I'm sure you've all heard of it and / or own one yourself. I was skeptical at first on this one because it looks like nothing special. But looks are deceiving, my friend. My hair is extremely prone to tangling and this works wonders for it. Not a de-tangle spray nor all the brushing with a normal hairbrush in the world could tame my tanlges, but this little gem does the trick nicely and now I wouldn't do without it.
